ELMHURST — The Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare Board of Governors’ 59th Annual Fall Benefit Dinner will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. This year’s featured speaker is John McDonough, President of the Chicago Blackhawks. Previously, McDonough spent over two decades with the Chicago Cubs, initially in the Marketing department and later as President of the organization. He has received numerous awards in the fields of marketing and sports and in 2008 was inducted into the Chicago Sports Hall of Fame.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a complimentary cocktail reception, dinner at 7:30 p.m. and the program to follow. The 59th Annual Fall Benefit Dinner is sponsored by Suburban Bank & Trust and Superior Ambulance.
“We are very excited to have John McDonough as this year’s featured speaker,” said Bob Carter, Chairman of the 2009 Fall Benefit Dinner. “This is a wonderful opportunity for people to support Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare and at the same time hear about the rise of the Chicago Blackhawks.”
Proceeds will benefit the new Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, scheduled to open in late 2011. The new hospital, located adjacent to the current Center for Health at York and Roosevelt Roads, will feature all private rooms, dedicated space for family members, healing gardens and extensive landscaping. Everything about it is designed to accommodate new technologies, expand our community outreach and transform how we deliver care.
Tickets to the Fall Benefit Dinner are $125 each; tables of ten are available for $1250 and patron level tables are available for $2500, which also includes a full page ad in the program book. In addition, there are underwriting opportunities available—all underwriters over $250 will appear in the Dinner Program (must be received by Nov. 4). There are also advertising placements available in the program book (must be received by Nov. 4).
