Teen Volunteers
Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare’s Teen Volunteer program offers energetic and caring teenagers the opportunity to perform a variety of rewarding tasks throughout the health system. From clerical and indirect patient care opportunities to working on nursing units and Immediate Care Centers to assisting with special projects and community events, the program is an ideal way to develop teamwork and leadership skills or learn more about a career in the medical field while also giving back to the community.
Teens interested in joining the program must be 14 years of age or older, able to commit to at least 50 hours of volunteering within a six-month period and complete an orientation session.
Our Teen Volunteer program is currently full. Please check back here in May for more information on how you can become a part of this unique experience.
