Breast Health Center

The Breast Center of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare is now accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. This accomplishment means:
- We are fully qualified to offer the full spectrum of interdisciplinary care to patients with breast disease.
- Our patients are afforded the most currently available forms of evaluation, treatment and follow-up care.
- We have passed a rigorous evaluation by independent clinical surveyors, who have awarded us their nationally recognized seal of approval.
Who We Are
Why would we create a center dedicated to breast health? Because it’s an important part of women’s overall health. Because women need an advocate. And because they deserve exceptional care.
This is especially true if an abnormality has been detected. We understand that just the thought of the “c” word can be overwhelming. That’s why we created a dedicated care line. When you call, you’ll speak with the Breast Health Center coordinator. This specially trained nurse is here for you every step of the way — from providing emotional support to helping you navigate your way through the healthcare system.
Elmhurst Memorial Hospital combines healing-edge care with leading-edge technology. Our reference laboratory, used for diagnostic testing, is associated with the Mayo Clinic. We’re also a partner with Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and a member of Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), so we can offer you the opportunity to participate in clinical trials.
If you have questions, or would like to schedule a routine mammogram, call our dedicated care line at 630-758-5888.
