Orthopedic specialists work closely with a team of physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, patient care technicians, rehabilitation and other clinical specialists to ensure you receive optimum care. Meanwhile, your case manager works closely with your physician, provides you with daily updates and provides needed information to your insurance company.
This integrated care approach is designed to minimize your stress and maximize your recovery. Depending upon the surgery, we also have dedicated operating suites and recovery units with satellite physical therapy rooms and therapists. Plus, licensed rehabilitation professionals can deliver post-operative therapy at three existing satellite rehabilitation units that are located directly on the orthopedic and transitional care units.
